Teddy Roosevelt and FDR both came from a wealthy Dutch-American clan, and never experienced any want except voluntarily - and yet, both did more for working-class America than anybody this side of ANOTHER "rich elitist", John F. Kennedy.
George W never wanted for anything material either. George H was a different sort of elitist than his son as well. Clinton has gained the money to be one now.
Just saying.
